As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence while patrolling government locations. This role requires both armed responsibilities and driving company vehicles as you conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action based on the situation.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or the public, providing guidance or assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to the community within the location.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client regarding armed patrol operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
