Job Description


As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer within a healthcare location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related operations, communicating with team members and responding to incidents as they arise. This role involves using technology to track activities throughout the facility, remaining visible to help to deter security-related issues, and providing exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications, including emergency and non-emergency calls, for the location.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel promptly to incidents and requests for assistance throughout the location.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and communications using appropriate documentation protocols.
  • Alert appropriate authorities and internal personnel during critical situations and/or emergencies following established procedures.
  • Provide strong customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and guests with security-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Support Allied Universal staff and location personnel by relaying information, coordinating responses, and following up on ongoing incidents.
  • Assist with implementing and communicating site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities as required.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement as needed to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Participate in periodic drills and training sessions to remain prepared for emergencies and/or unusual situations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
