As a Unarmed Security Guard - Access Control in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at a chemical or petrochemical location, where your primary responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This position is a driving post. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential concerns within the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Assist with implementing and following location-specific protocols related to chemical and petrochemical operations, as directed.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
