As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrols PT in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and following proper protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior or security-related issues and report findings according to company procedures.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or crowd control as needed within the retail or mall environment.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and timely as required by Allied Universal policies.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to help to maintain a secure environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty, representing Allied Universal at the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
