As a Security Professional - Hospital Unarmed Roving Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while being prepared to respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and general inquiries, delivering professional and courteous service at all times.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for any unusual activity within the healthcare setting.
• Report maintenance or security-related hazards identified during patrols to appropriate personnel for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
