What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail or mall environment, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership, maintaining communication with appropriate personnel.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during patrols in accordance with company and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A current armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike, if required by the post.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
