As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attentive service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your communication skills will support positive interactions with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal's protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and other personnel to support security-related needs specific to a technology, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
