As an Access Control Security Officer, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter unauthorized activity while providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid in-state driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Support security-related access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors at the automotive location, verifying credentials and granting entry as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Follow site-specific policies for access control, including logging visitor information and reporting irregularities to Allied Universal management and client contacts as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations involving access control in a calm, problem-solving manner, according to established procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with access-related questions and/or directions within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and report any observed concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
