As a Security Professional - Government Facility Entry Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a government location. Your presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment, while your outstanding customer service and clear communication will support everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter, observing for any irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to post orders.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client.
  • Support access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as appropriate to the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required per client specifications.
  • A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
