As a Security Professional – Healthcare Facility Patrol Rounds in Clairton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents, support loss prevention efforts, and provide outstanding assistance to patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will contribute to a positive environment, while maintaining the caring and reliable values that define our team. You will be a key point of contact for those in need, providing guidance and exceptional customer service as you carry out your duties throughout the facility.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment in the healthcare location.
• Document all activities and incidents according to site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to meet hospital requirements regarding vaccinations.
• Must be able to assist with morgue duties in a hospital setting.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
