Job Description


As a Security Professional - Lot Patrol Driver in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an automotive environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure atmosphere for everyone on site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and employees, and respond to security-related situations as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor building access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in written and/or electronic logs as required.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the automotive location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control systems, badge management, and alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience providing customer service and using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
