Job Description


As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol Lead in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly and professionally. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, visitors, and staff at the location to address security-related questions and provide assistance as needed.
  • Remain alert to security-related risks and report any unusual or suspicious behavior or conditions encountered during patrols.
  • Assist in access control by monitoring entry and exit points, and verifying credentials as required by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
