Job Description


As a Security Professional - Resort Patrol Unarmed in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, responding to calls for assistance, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering assistance as needed to guests, staff, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observe for any unusual activity, and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Document and communicate security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with hotel or resort personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience using computers or tablets is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
