Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Toledo, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. This role requires both an armed presence and a valid driver's license, as you may be required to drive as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and de-escalation techniques when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter potential security-related threats.
  • Monitor access points and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any observations during patrols or assigned duties.
  • Collaborate with site staff, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or drills.
  • Carry out duties while being mindful of the unique environment and operational needs of a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
