As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols of a major transportation location, maintaining a strong and visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as needed, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials as required and reporting any unusual activity.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in daily reports and logs according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and/or the public to address inquiries and provide guidance regarding security-related matters at the transportation location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
