As a Security Officer – Access Control Auto Industry in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with access procedures according to site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and support compliance with entry protocols.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in alignment with established security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business areas and perimeter to help to deter and detect suspicious activities.
  • Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site and Allied Universal policies.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, communicating with appropriate personnel and supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
