As a Security Officer - Media Site Unarmed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with people and provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate clearly with all individuals in the area. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech and media location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives as required.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist in managing access control and verifying identification as needed for entry to restricted areas within the location.
• Interact professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors, providing assistance and direction as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
