As a Security Professional - Distribution Entry Control in Plainfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents in and around the logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients and assist individuals with site-specific policies and basic information as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with public emergency services when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
