As a Security Officer - Access Control in Smethport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment while you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site-specific protocols and security-related questions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any observed irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document observations and incidents in daily activity reports and escalate issues when appropriate to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site security-related operations.
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures as directed by client leadership and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
