Job Description


As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading financial institution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, setting the standard for positive communication and customer service. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license, as part of your responsibilities will include driving during patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial institution environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the interior and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and general areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
  • Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
  • Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations as outlined by the client and Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
