As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol Driver in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. This position is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter trespassing and/or other prohibited activities.
• Keep detailed records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervision and/or site management regarding security-related concerns or unusual situations encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Support emergency preparedness and response by following site-specific protocols and providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be 21 years of age or older.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
