As a Security Guard - Financial Institution Patrol Driver in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, engaging with visitors and employees, and delivering top-notch customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances as per site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Remain alert to potential risks within a financial institution environment and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining a visible presence and providing information or assistance to employees, visitors, and/or customers as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site procedures, including documentation and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
