As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driver PT in Miami Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you'll utilize your valid driver's license while performing your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the property and its perimeter, observing for any unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the government location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate incident and activity reports for review by Allied Universal and/or site management.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and/or site contacts as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Stay alert to potential security-related risks specific to government environments and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
