As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Logistics in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a busy logistics and distribution location. This position requires carrying a firearm and driving company or client vehicles as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports regarding incidents, patrol activities, and any unusual occurrences.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and first responders as needed during emergency situations.
• Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Operate and inspect security-related equipment and systems in accordance with site procedures.
• Remain alert and observant at all times to help to deter loss, damage, or criminal activity within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
