Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Tillery, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine armed patrols throughout a government location. You will remain visible to support a secure environment, respond to incidents promptly, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position is both armed and requires driving, giving you the opportunity to utilize your experience while making a difference in a dynamic setting. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, potential hazards, or unusual occurrences during patrols or while on duty.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or local authorities as appropriate to address security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or unauthorized access within the government facility.
  • Complete daily logs and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have an active armed guard card or license.
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
