Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service while working in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the site, and assisting with access control. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and/or foot. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment while upholding the values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity that define Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility, including perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in enforcing access control procedures and verifying credentials of individuals entering designated areas.
  • Support emergency response actions as needed in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate records of patrols and any security-related events encountered during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
