As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a large retail location. Your role involves monitoring the area, interacting with customers and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe for signs of suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and/or hazards, and report findings according to established protocols.
• Engage with staff, visitors, and customers to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, patrols, and any security-related occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Follow instructions from Allied Universal management and site supervisors, adapting to the specific needs and guidelines of the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
