As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist – Financial in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence. Your role involves responding promptly to any security-related concerns, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points, identify potential security-related risks, and report any irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Collaborate with staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and support incident resolution.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms in accordance with post orders and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• You must have a minimum of three years combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related work, or possess a college degree.
• You must provide proof of a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
