As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in Auburn Hills, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will perform regular mobile and walking patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence throughout the premises. You will interact with visitors and staff, support access control procedures, and contribute to loss prevention measures, all while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity within the location to identify and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters for management review.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following site protocols.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and verification of identification as appropriate for the location.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
