Job Description


As a Security Professional - Telecom Unarmed Patrol Driver in Great Falls, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, or telecom location. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents and contributes to a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols and engage with individuals on site, providing outstanding customer service while communicating clearly and professionally. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for covering various areas as part of your patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with access control and general inquiries, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of security-related experience, or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
