Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol CRE in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and professional presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned commercial real estate location, including building interiors and perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities according to company protocols and client requirements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal colleagues to maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying identification as required by site policies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, shift logs, and other documentation as directed by Allied Universal and/or client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
