What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while responding to incidents and emergency situations as needed.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Carry out access control procedures for staff and visitors, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate to local law enforcement or site management.
• Prepare detailed reports of daily activities and incidents, documenting observations and actions taken during patrols and responses.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and management to support a welcoming and secure environment for customers and employees.
• Conduct security-related inspections of doors, windows, and other points of access to help to deter loss or damage at the location.
• Maintain a visible presence as an armed security professional to help to deter theft, disturbances, and other unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
