As a Security Officer -  Armed Retail Center - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence in a retail location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner while upholding site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or conditions, assisting store personnel as needed in accordance with established guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with store employees, visitors, and/or customers.
• Support access control measures by observing entrances and exits, verifying identity or authorization as required.
• Prepare accurate and timely incident reports and/or logs based on site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess an active armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Possess a valid Level III armed certification if required by law in Texas.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
