As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall setting, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment under pressure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Carry and maintain readiness with an assigned firearm as required by post-specific guidelines, following all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or other prohibited activities.
• Observe for suspicious behavior and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and other Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and provide a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document incidents and daily activities thoroughly and accurately in reports as required.
• Support emergency response procedures, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and Act 235 Qualification as required by Pennsylvania law.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
