As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Dispatch Specialist in Niskayuna, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications between personnel, visitors, and emergency responders within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Utilize dispatch systems to relay information and instructions to on-site security-related teams and/or relevant staff.
  • Respond to alarms and incidents by notifying appropriate personnel and providing clear, calm instructions.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of incidents, calls, and dispatch activities.
  • Assist with access control by remotely granting or denying entry based on established site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating accurate information to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and assisting with site-specific protocols.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining constant awareness of site operations through surveillance systems and/or communication.
  • Follow all site-specific security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
