As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Patrols in Lansdowne, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruptions.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
  • Document and report security-related activities, incidents, and/or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Engage professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and support as needed while maintaining a security-related presence.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address incidents within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Act 235 qualification is required for positions located in Pennsylvania.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
