As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you carry out regular patrols, access control, and badge verification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters as needed.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
