As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be instrumental in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting security-related patrols to help to deter incidents and unauthorized access. This post requires operating a vehicle as part of your duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting a culture built on reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points at the chemical and/or petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and following site-specific security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, in accordance with client and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any breaches of policy or procedure.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in alignment with location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
