As a Security Professional - Utilities Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns within the utilities location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues discovered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
