As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Huntley, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the facility. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences, within the manufacturing and industrial setting.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents and activities observed while on duty.
• Remain visible and approachable in assigned areas to assist employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
