As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail area and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report on activities or conditions that may impact the location, documenting all incidents and/or irregularities as required.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail location to help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
