As a Security Professional - Chemical Plant Patrol Driver in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical and petrochemical location to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. This position requires a valid driver's license, as it involves driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to monitor for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on site.
  • Follow post orders and site-specific instructions to address the unique requirements of a chemical or petrochemical environment.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as needed to report concerns and support incident resolution.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
