Job Description


As a Security Professional - Chemical Facility Driver in Marietta, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents in a chemical and petrochemical environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, validating credentials, and conducting routine patrols to maintain a secure atmosphere. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and granting or denying entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
  • Perform security-related patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency protocols.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances observed during shifts.
  • Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders related to chemical or petrochemical environments.
  • Provide customer service to all individuals on site by communicating professionally and addressing inquiries or concerns related to access and security-related matters.
  • Participate in regular training and briefings to stay updated on security-related procedures and emergency response protocols relevant to chemical or petrochemical locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience in security-related driving posts is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
