As a Security Officer - Utilities Perimeter Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by regularly patrolling assigned utility locations and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve monitoring for unusual activity, interacting with clients and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at all times.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and/or emergency responders as needed to support security-related needs at the utilities location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
