Job Description


As a Security Professional - Residential Community Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while building strong relationships with residents. Your presence contributes to a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and being highly visible throughout the location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any observed incidents, hazards, or unusual situations according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence within the residential community to help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Assist with access control measures and verify identification or authorization as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
