Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. In this armed post, you will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strong communication skills. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activities within the healthcare location.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and/or law enforcement during emergency situations or when additional support is required.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors within the healthcare environment.
  • Operate security-related equipment, such as radios or surveillance systems, as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) as required by client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
