As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an innovative aerospace and defense environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter potential security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials of personnel and/or visitors as necessary.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with local authorities as directed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address security-related questions or concerns.
  • Report any maintenance hazards or other concerns identified during patrols to the appropriate contacts for resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
