Job Description


As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Facility Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents as you conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service to those on site. You will remain visible, support access control efforts, and respond to alarms, contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, identify potential security-related concerns, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support the overall security-related operations of the aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of surroundings and following assigned protocols.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
