Job Description


As a Security Professional - Patrol Team in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer within a dynamic food and beverage location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, including production areas, warehouses, and loading docks.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, and potential policy violations, reporting observations to supervisory staff as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining access control procedures, verifying credentials, and managing visitor entry at designated points.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports or logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation and incident management, as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
