Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Manufacturing in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and strong customer service skills will foster positive interactions and prompt communication. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while at the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, offering assistance as needed while maintaining adherence to security-related guidelines.
  • Support access control measures by observing entry and exit activity and checking credentials as required at the location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and/or logs as required by Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
